Updated Tweet Details Screen – Clicking a Tweet now brings you to a content-rich Tweet details screen, designed to give you more information around the Tweet.  Geotagged Tweets will show mini maps, Tweeted photos will appear larger, and Twitter conversations will be easier to follow.  In addition, you will be able to see who’s Retweeted a Tweet, and by whom it has been Retweeted. To see a person’s profile screen, just click the profile picture again.
Undo Retweet – You can now undo a Retweet that you may have mistakenly Retweeted.  You can undo a Retweet by using familiar actions used to delete a Tweet.  In addition, the new Tweet details screen allows you to select the Retweet button to undo a Retweet.

App World Updated to v3.0.0.71 in the Beta Zone!

BBM Updated to v5.0.3.13 for BlackBerry BetaZone Members

f you’re a person who likes to have the latest BlackBerry Messenger available at all times then you’ll want to hit up the BlackBerry Beta Zone as they’ve now released v5.0.3.13. If you’re expecting an huge visual changes or things of that sort — you’ll be sadly disappointed. As with most releases these days it’s bug-fixes and back end work to improve overall functionality as noted in the Beta Zone

What’s New in this Version?

The short answer? Nothing that you can really see. We’ve made a few minor back-end fixes to the application and would like to make sure everything is working just fine. You may not see any of the bugs or feature requests you reported for BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.2 addressed in this build, but don’t be discouraged! Rest assured that we’ve received ALL your feedback and it will all be taken into consideration for future versions of the software

Twitter For Blackberry Updated In Beta Zone v1.1.0.16

RIM has launched a new update to Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones that adds features users have been asking for – including geotagging, which allows users to identify their location with their tweets; new language support; cleaner interfaces; new notifications and more. Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones v1.1 is a beta download available through BlackBerry Beta Zone (www.blackberry.com/beta)

New Twitter for BlackBerry v 1.1 features include:

• @mention Push Notifications – Users are now alerted with push notifications to the ribbon when they have @mentions, helping users quickly reply to @mentions

• Direct Messages – Renamed “Messages,” direct messages are now threaded in the style of BBM conversations. Related messages are grouped together, making the direct message area less cluttered

• #Topic Autocomplete – When users include a hashtag in their tweet, a dropdown list of key words will be presented based on previously used #topics

• Social Feeds Integration – Deeper integration with Social Feeds allows users to perform Twitter actions right from Social Feeds, without launching the app

• Retweet Updates – Retweets now appear in the Home timeline with a tag of “retweeted by you,” quickly alerting users that a retweet has been sent

• New Gesture Support – BlackBerry smartphone users with a touch screen device can now refresh page content by simply dragging a finger down the device screen and releasing it

• Additional language support – New languages supported include Polish and Czech

Twitter for BlackBerry 1.1 runs on BlackBerry Device Software 4.5 or higher and requires a data plan.
