Blackberry Z10 vs iPhone 5 Video

Blackberry Bold 9900 and iPhone 4s Side by Side

In my opinion Blackberry wins this year.  They made more move in innovation their devices this year than they have done in the past 3 years.  You tell me which one would you prefer and why.

PlayBook vs IPad NYC Subway Train of Thought

Heading home after a long day of work than school, its 10:30 p.m. I’m on the uptown platform waiting for the uptown 2 express train. Listening to one of DMX’s classic albums “It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot.” Now imagine how it sound coming from a pair of Dr. Dre Solo HD Beats, music heaven in my opinion. The train heads into the station, it wasn’t packed and I was able to find a seat. I sat right next to a young man who had an Ipad 2, he had on a baseball cap with a big red B right in front of it.  As a NY Yankee fan I was not happy(kidding).  I can see the little hole in the white bezel in front of the Ipad so i figued it was the 2nd generation Ipad.  He was playing Angry Birds and to be honest it looked very good on a big screen.   I noticed he had on a pair of Dr. Dre’s Studio Beats, but it wasn’t connected to the IPad. The wire was in his coat pocket. Obviously he was listening to music because as he kept throwing birds across the screen, whiling bopping his head back and forth.

I wasn’t paying any attention to what stop I was on.  As soon as I looked up I noticed everyone in my cart whipped out their mobile devices. I know at that moment the train was going to come out from underground for a brief moment.  I also notice the young guy playing with the IPad 2 went into his pocket and took out his IPhone 4. He pressed the message app to reconcile his messages.

I started thinking to my self with my BlackBerry still in my holster on my belt with bluetooth on and connected to my Playbook I would have to be one of those people to whip out their smartphone as soon as we come out to the open. My BlackBerry can stay right were it is and I can access my BlackBerry right from my Playbook. I can see what emails were pushed to my BlackBerry on my BlackBerry tablet. I can respond to them and even get access to my BBM’s. To top it off with the secure bluetooth connection, I’m on the internet with my only WiFi enable BlackBerry PlayBook, no need to purchase 4G model later this year. It would have been fun to show this guy what the PlayBook was capable of but I will have to wait for it to be released.
